Without a doubt, Jenn’s life has been a journey full of interesting and rich experiences working as a marketing manager for a Fortune 500 company to a military officer to a mom (times four) finally, to a teacher. Each one of these experiences have shaped her into the passionate and driven person she is today. Jenn earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management and International Management from the University of New Mexico in 2000. She earned a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning – Special Education from Liberty University in 2018. Jenn’s insane love and passion for learning and education combined with the desire to form deep, loving connections with people of various backgrounds and ethnicities are what drive her to bring added value, encouragement, and positive impacts to those around her.
Meet D1, a.k.a. The Musician. Violinist. Black Belt Martial Artist. Puzzle Master. Big sister. Old Soul. Lover of Dad Jokes. Heart of Gold. Don’t let that pretty little smile fool you. Mess with this 14 year old high school freshman, and she will front kick you so fast you won’t know what happened! In all seriousness, she has fond passion for music and loves playing her guitar, violin, ukulele, and sometimes, when she is bored, her piano. She was born in the wrong era. She rocks out to The Police, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Def Leppard, and Elton John, and she was born in 2005 ! She knows Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” by heart! She is a 1st Degree Level 3 Black Belt in Taekwando and can hold her own on the mat. This gal is going places. It is her kindness, heart, insane work ethic, dedication, and desire for continuous improvement that will take her where she wants to go.
Meet D2, a.k.a. Future Marine Biologist. Animal lover. Turtle Rescuer. Golfer. Book lover. Marvel Movie Obsessed. Lego Master Builder. Jokester. Adventurer. Captain America’s Biggest Fan. Full of energy and incredible heart, this kid loves animals, especially the animals in the ocean. He will be the first to rescue the injured bird, turtle, and any other animal that he feels needs help and makes sure it remains unharmed. At 10, the kid is an amazing problem solver and has already figured out how to fix televisions, sinks, and broken toilets! He recently discovered how much he loves playing golf and has participated in numerous camps and played a few different courses over the last year! I am sure if he has the opportunity, he would probably live in the ocean or pitch a tent on a golf course!
Meet D3, a.k.a. The Baby. Family Comedian. Puzzle Lover. Pete the Cat’s Biggest Fan. Loudest Toddler on the Planet. Lego Lover. Scooter Rider. This energetic, clever graffiti artist of a 5 year old is the baby of the family. He loves reading “Pete the Cat” and story time with Pete is about the only time he sits still! You can find him building legos with his brother, drawing pictures of “his guys” in his art notebook, or you might find him riding his scooter and chasing after the family dog, Ziggy. He is not afraid to speak up and tell you how he feels! His laugh and his energy are contagious.
